Fue duro, pero mereció la pena participar en este grandioso proyecto: ampliación del Campus Universitario de la Universidad de Medicina de Linz JKU. En un proyecto de tal calibre prima el orden, la capacidad de trabajo y la buena organización del equipo. Empecé haciendo algo tan sencillo como construir la maqueta de los cuatro edificios de LORENZ ATELIERS junto con Clemens Kössler. Pasé por dibujar detalles constructivos de zonas exteriores del edificio, escaleras metálicas, puertas, portones… hacerme cargo de la temible lista de puertas, el libro de habitaciones… así como de la documentación gráfica final. Datos y más datos. Pero también me sirvió para aprender un montón sobre la normativa vigente en Austria en lo que se refiere a accesibilidad y protección contra incendios y un montón de vocabulario y factores a tener en cuenta a la hora de planificar un edificio.
Participating in this great project was hard but worth it: expansion of the University Campus of the Linz Medical University JKU. In a project of such caliber, order, work capacity and good organization of the team prevail. I started doing something as simple as building the model of the four LORENZ ATELIERS buildings together with Clemens Kössler. I went through drawing construction details of the exterior areas of the building, metal stairs, doors, gates… taking charge of the fearsome doorlist and the room catalogue as well as the final graphic documentation. Data and more data. But it also helped me to learn a lot about current regulations in Austria regarding accessibility and fire protection and a lots of vocabulary and factors to take into account when planning a building.
